Lost or Stolen Credit and Debit Cards

imageWhether you’re on a trip to Europe or a trip to the mall, it’s scary if your credit card is lost or stolen. Before fraudulent charges start stacking up on your account, take action. Once you realize your card is missing or has been stolen, contact us right away. We’ll cancel your old card and send you a new one promptly.

When traveling, preparedness is key. Before you leave home, contact all of your card carriers and financial institutions. Let them know you will be traveling, and that you will need their contact information in case your card is lost or stolen.

If you’re at home or traveling in the United States, call ProFed at 260-483-0514 or 800-752-4613 ext. 1632 between 8:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. EST. After hours, please call 888-373-2880. You may also call Visa® Global Card Assistance Service at 800-847-2911.

If you’re abroad, you may use the numbers listed above. If there is a major time difference, our after-hours number and Visa® Global Card Assistance Service may be your easiest options. In addition, a list of Visa® international office numbers can be found at USA.Visa.com.

After reporting your card, make sure to check your account for unauthorized transactions. You can check your transactions with ProFed Online Banking or in your monthly statement. If you determine there are fraudulent transactions, contact us immediately.

Losing your card doesn’t have to mean losing your money. By acting quickly, you can restore order to your account and get back to business as usual in no time.
